I have a slightly different blog post for you today! I got something in the post today that I just couldn’t wait to show you! But at the same time, I can’t use it yet either. So I decided to try a new type of post: First Impressions!
Now that we are at the end of November, it is more than safe to jump on the Christmas hype and get all excited for Santa Paws! I’ve had my eye on this Christmas item for a while now and mom promised me that if I was a good pup I could have an advent calendar this year. I must have done something right 😉
Lily’s Kitchen had a Black Friday deal going where you could get 30% off the calendar (this is still active at the time I’m writing this!), while also having another code for a free treat! (It was XMASTREAT, but I don’t think that’s active anymore). So for a total of £14.97 (shipping of £8 to Ireland) I got the calendar and a 100g packet of Fabulously Festive Biscuits. A pretty good deal if you ask me!
The shipping was great too! Mom placed my order Saturday evening, it was shipped Sunday and arrived via courier Tuesday morning. Thumbs up there Lily’s Kitchen! 😀
Everything was very securely packed inside an adorably decorated box (covered with quotes from reviews and the brand’s cute pooch and cat doodles) and arrived in perfect condition. Even the company’s stationary is cute 😉 I have more images of everything at the end of this post 🙂
There are three different types of treats in the calendar:
- Rise & Shines: Two flower-shaped treats, made with beef liver, fresh carrots, blackstrap molasses and alfalfa to help keep your dog’s coat as shiny as a Christmas bauble.
- Training Treats: Little packs of our mini bone-shaped biscuits, made with fresh russet apples and organic farmhouse Cheddar to help keep your dog’s attention on a wintry walk in the park.
- Bedtime Biscuits: Single blissful bedtime treats, made with honey, yoghurt, chamomile & passion flowers to promote a Christmas Eve sleep so Santa can get on with his job.
Everything sounds tasty to me! I’ve had some Lily’s Kitchen treats before and they went down well. I have no doubt these will too 😉
I can’t wait to get into these treats! Roll on the 1st of December! 😀
